Preston's character, Doug Potts, made a move to Australia for a fresh start with Betty Eagleton, where he has resided ever since.
Retirement Plans
In a recent interview with This is Money, Duncan shared his retirement plans, stating, "I consider myself retired but if anything comes up that I want to do I will. I’d love to do one last really nice part." He is set to appear in Good Ship Murder on Channel Five.
Personal Life
The actor also opened up about his personal life, revealing that he is now single after splitting from ex-wife Susan Penhaligon, whom he met on the set of Emmerdale. Despite a previous split and reconciliation, Duncan and Susan have parted ways once again.
New Beginnings
Following his divorce, Duncan made a fresh start in Yorkshire, where he currently resides in a spacious 1950s detached property overlooking Ilkley Moor.
