IT all kicks off in the Yorkshire Dales as Ben Tucker tries furiously to shift the blame from the survival challenge disaster.
Emmerdale’s Ben Tucker, played by Simon Lennon, joined the ITV soap in September 2020 and is an Hawksford Outdoor Pursuits (HOP) employee.
Determined to clear his name after the survival challenge disaster, he manages to convince Aaron to keep Jai distracted while he goes to the HOP to find some evidence to clear his name.
At HOP, Assistant Manager Laurel Thomas discovers Liv and Ben at each other’s throats over Aaron.
Liv has been battling her alcohol problem for months, and despite seeming to kick the habit at one point, is back on the booze.
Ben opens up to Laurel about LIv’s drink problem and she is forced to send Liv home.
Breaking into the HOP office, Ben is at a loss after he is unable to find any new evidence about the bridge collapse and evidence that would hopefully clear his name.
Ben finally checks the body camera footage and is horrified as he sees shaky footage of the attempted drowning of Victoria.
Reaching for the phone, Ben calls Billy and pleads with him to come and check out the footage, but still annoyed by their earlier run-in, he refuses to meet him.
Unaware of who Billy is with, we learn that Meena sat with Billy heard everything Ben said about the potentially incriminating evidence and gets to scheming.
Adrenaline fueled Ben hears a loud noise and finds Liv drunkenly trying to steal booze from The Hide Cafe and has smashed wine bottles in the process.
Ordering her to go home, they are both unaware they are being watched by another intruder.
Feeling remorseful, Ben is left without his phone as an altercation with Liv turns physical, and she takes it.
Ben is slightly startled as he sees a smiling Meena in the office.
Meena springs into action and tries to grab the camera from him but fails to prize it from it. Giving chase, Meena runs after Ben but slips in the wine Liv spilt earlier.
Ben is left feeling panicked as he sees Meena lying lifeless on the floor.
