DAWN Taylor is living a happily married life alongside Billy Fletcher since her dramatic wedding.
But to ease her ex Alex’s resentment, she risks getting into trouble with the law next week in Emmerdale.
After tying the knot and facing serial killer Meena Jutla, Dawn (played by Olivia Bromley) and Billy are enjoying marital bliss, ready to take their relationship to a new level.
This includes Billy telling his wife he would like to adopt her son Lucas.
Although she is happy to see the extent of her husband’s commitment, Dawn is worried due to Lucas’ biological father Alex (Liam Boyle).

However, she doesn’t let anything stop her from kick-starting the process and when a text message sent to Alex receives no response, Dawn decides to break the news in person.
Initially incensed, Alex eventually accepts the adoption proposal… but it will come at a cost for Dawn.
Alex pays her a visit and they secretly meet outside her home – only for Alex to tell her that she will have to sell drugs for him to help him pay off all of his debts in exchange of his consent to the adoption procedure.
Dawn hides the blackmail from Harriet and Billy as she struggles to share their excitement over Lucas’ adoption, and she soon goes to desperate lengths to keep Alex happy by trying to steal from Home Farm.
But things go from bad to worse when she decides to accompany Alex to meet with his drug dealer.
Realising the task may be more dangerous than she expected, Dawn is overhwelmed by dread when the meeting concludes and a police car rushes to them.
Dawn is being guided into the back of it which could mean she could lose her son Lucas.
As Emmerdale fans know, Dawn has had to fight to keep her son at her side.
Lucas was taken away from her by social services just before his third birthday due to her drug addiction.
When she got rid of her bad habits, Dawn was more than determined to prove she could be a good mother to Lucas and succeeded when she was awarded custody in March, 2020.
But with her going along Alex’s blackmail and rekindling with the drug world, she could be walking on thin ice.
