Actress Rosario Dawson, best known for her role in Star Wars, has announced that she will soon become a grandmother. The 44-year-old star previously adopted her daughter, Isabella, when she was 11 years old. Now, at the age of 21, Isabella is expecting her first child in 2024.

She explained that she did not go through an adoption center; instead, her family knew Isabella's biological mother and decided to look for her when they found out she was in foster care. Dawson said that it was a clear and unquestionable decision to bring Isabella into their family.

Rosario Dawson has had an impressive career, with notable roles in films such as Rent (2005), Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief (2010), and the Sin City franchise. She gained further recognition for her portrayal of Ahsoka Tano in the Star Wars series The Mandalorian on Disney+. The character has since appeared in The Book of Boba Fett and will have her own feature series, Ahsoka.
