Ex-Emmerdale star Charley Webb shares ‘chaos’ at home with husband Matthew Wolfenden after teasing new project

FORMER Emmerdale star Charley Webb has given fans a glimpse into the “chaos” of her home life with actor hubby Matthew Wolfenden.

Charley, 34, who played Debbie Dingle in the ITV soap on and off from 2002-2021, shared a video of the couple’s son Ace, two, messily drinking a cup of milk.

Sitting at the kitchen counter, Ace almost knocked over the cup of milk as his famous mum watched.

The milk spilled on the counter, but the adorable tot who had a cast on his arm eventually managed to get a mouthful of his breakfast milk.

Charley captioned the Instagram story video: “The absolute beautiful chaos of this house.

“Also, I haven’t been able to bath him since Thursday with his arm. Waiting for the cover to arrive so he doesn’t get it wet, the stink levels are real.”

She then shared a selfie cuddling the family dog and then a high shot of her belly and jeans standing next to a Louis Vuitton bag.

“My kids are sick of my s**t,” she captioned the photo.

Charley is mum to sons Buster, 12, Bowie, six, and Ace, with husband Matthew Wolfenden, who plays David Metcalfe on Emmerdale.

She recently revealed she has not one but two new TV jobs in the pipeline, a year after quitting Emmerdale.

In early 2022, the soap actress confirmed she’d left the popular ITV soap opera for good, saying: “I left to have Ace two years ago.

“I went back at the end of last year for ten weeks to complete a storyline so I guess officially it’s been a year. I never felt the need to announce it so we didn’t.”

It is believed Charley’s decision to leave the Dales was fuelled by Matthew getting caught up in a race row behind the scenes.

Matthew and his co-star Isabel Hodgins were absent from the show for four months last year after it was claimed a mixed-race actress was upset by a comment and her accent allegedly being mimicked.

They returned to the set in January after a rigorous inquiry was carried out.
