The shock is too hard to handle for the village businesswoman
Soon enough, her granddaughter Millie is in danger
1. Kim finally gets the truth
For several months, the village businesswoman played by Claire King believed her son was dead after driving his car into a lake.
Since then, she’s been trying to build a bond with her granddaughter Millie, but this has been a challenge as she’s fiercely protected by her maternal grandmother Hazel.
However, the entrepreneur is happy to find out Millie (Willow Bell) would be coming back to the eponymous village and she gets excited to be able to reconnect with her.
Sadly, neither Millie nor Hazel (Kate Anthony) ever show up next week and Kim is left feeling frustrated.

But she soon finds out there’s a good reason for their absence – Hazel gets into an accident next week.
Kim rushes to hospital to see Hazel and check up on her granddaughter.
While she’s there, she gets news that she definitely wasn’t expecting as Hazel confesses to her she was pushed down the stairs by Jamie.
A flabbergasted Kim thus finds out her troublesome son is actually alive and well after faking his death in September, 2021.
She immediately asks Hazel what her son has been up to and the latter is clearly scared.
Hazel obliges, filling her in on the details of her time with Jamie and Kim makes a huge decision.
Hard-faced and ready to push her son in the right track, she calls the police to report Jamie for the attempted murder of Hazel.
Sadly, seven-year-old Millie is confused and terrified to see her grandmother but Kim maintains she will be keeping her safe from then on, seething with anger.
Millie is brought and welcomed into Home Farm but Dawn Taylor, her father Will and Gabby Thomas still struggle to get their heads around the news that Jamie is alive, despite their suspicions.
But the news obviously hits Kim the hardest.
Once alone, the years of hurt and betrayal from her resurface and a weeping Kim smashes up her own living room.
In later scenes, she’s given definitive proof that Jamie is alive but Millie’s world is turned on its head after she hears Kim talk about her father.
Confused and upset, Millie acts out and runs away.
Kim is petrified but matters only get worse when even PC Harriet Finch fails to find the little girl.
Is she in danger?
Or could Jamie have come back to snatch her away from Home Farm?
