Geordie Shore cast’s changing faces – from shaved jaw to ‘head chiselling’ and regrets over ‘elephant man’ lip filler

FROM steamy romps to brutal bust-ups and mortal nights out, Geordie Shore was the reality TV show that pushed boundaries when it kicked off in 2011.

As well as the their wild antics on the MTV series, the cast also became known for their love of cosmetic tweakments.

Ricci has undergone three more surgeries on his face

Earlier this week Ricci Guarnaccio revealed he’s had three more procedures – despite vowing to never go under the knife again.

The 36-year-old had a third rhinoplasty, a blepharoplast (eye lid lift) and lastysmaplasty (jaw tightening).

Ricci, who reckons he’s spent around £25,000 on surgery, isn’t the only Geordie Shore star who has undergone a dramatic transformation over the years.

Here we take a look at the rest of their changing faces.

Holly Hagan

Holly looks almost unrecognisable from when she burst onto our screens as an 18-year-old red-head.

She made no secret of being a fan of surgery back then, proudly telling viewers in her Geordie Shore intro she had “double Fs”.

After her first boob job Holly went on to have work done to her face, getting filler in 2014 with pal Charlotte Crosby’s cosmetic doctor Dr Esho.

Holly, 31, continued to get her pout plumped over the years, and in 2017 she began getting filler in her face including her chin, cheeks and nose.

In 2021 she gave fans an update, saying: “I only get chin filler like once every two years. Haven’t had lips for like 4 years I just have lip blush and I over line. Same for cheeks, lips and nose I haven’t had done in 3 years.”

Holly added that she still regularly has Botox. Last year, looking back at her old “sausage lips”, she admitted she used to be “filler blind”.

Sharing a before and after picture on Instagram, she wrote: “I don’t see anything wrong with a few tweaks here and there but for me less is definitely more… shame it took 8 years to realise it but we live and learn.”

While Holly prefers a more natural look these days, she hasn’t stopped the filler completely. Ahead of her wedding to footballer Jacob Blyth last year, she had Botox and a “small bit of nose filler”.

And after welcoming her son Alpha-Jax in June, Holly was back in the chair a month later to have Botox in her forehead, crow’s feet and chin.

Charlotte Crosby

Charlotte’s life has changed dramatically since Geordie Shore – and so has her face.

The 33-year-old splashed out £4,000 on a nose job in 2016, admitting she wanted to get rid of her “hook”, and later claimed it’s the “best thing she’s ever done”.

She told Heat magazine: “No-one ever noticed my nose, I never got one comment in my whole entire life saying you’ve got a bad nose. But I wasn’t happy with it, I got it done for me.”

Charlotte, who has reportedly spent around £20,000 on procedures, has also admitted to having lip filler one a year.

However, she decided to ditch her voluminous pout and have her filler dissolved after becoming a mum to daughter Alba-Jean, who she welcomed with boyfriend Jake Ankers in October 2022.

She said: “I absolutely love my lips, but it got to the point after pregnancy, they had swelled a lot. I watched the Geordie Shore reunion and was like, I looked ridiculous.”

In January Charlotte confessed she would “never” get more lip filler, but admitted to having Botox “all the time”.

Chloe Ferry

Chloe looks radically different since joining the show aged 19

Chloe was a fresh-faced 19-year-old when she joined Geordie Shore in 2015, but soon started getting Botox, claiming it was “just part of being a girl”.

A year later Chloe went under the knife for an eyebrow lift.

The 27-year-old got her first nose job in May 2016, but wasn’t happy with the results, admitting: “I hate my nose. It’s just too small, my nostrils need to be widened.”

She underwent her second rhinoplasty two years later in 2018.

And in April 2015 Chloe spent £28,000 on a set of pearly white veneers.

The star is a fan of filler, too, having admitted to getting it in her lips, cheeks and chin to make her jaw “pop”.

The self-confessed plastic surgery addict once admitted: “I love surgery and I’ll never stop. I want my face to be like, ‘woah’.”

In 2016 she shared plans to get muscles “pulled out of her cheeks” for a more chiselled look.

She said: “I want to get my jaw done. I want to get it shaved so I’ve got a really good jaw line.”

In January last year Chloe went to hospital after suffering a botched “fox” eye lift, which left her with a dent in her face.

The treatment, which costs around £800, involves lifting the edges of the brows using soft PDO (polydioxanone) threads in the face.

“It’s probably one of the biggest mistakes I’ve ever made. I really regret it. I’ve had a traumatic seven months and it could’ve been avoided,” she told The Celeb Report.

“It has actually ruined my life and made me so insecure. I can’t leave the house without make-up.”

Marnie Simpson

Marnie Simpson has had three nose jobs

When she joined Geordie Shore in 2011, Marnie described herself as a “natural beauty” – but it wasn’t long before she started tweaking her appearance.

Marnie has had three nose jobs, undergoing her first in 2014. She had her second following her split from former TOWIE star Ricky Rayment back in 2015, in a bid to get rid of a slight bump.

Still “unhappy”, she jetted to the US in 2018 for procedure number three.

Marnie has also had her fair share of lip filler, but previously shared regrets due to “irreversible damage”.

“I would do anything to go back to my natural lips,” she told her Instagram followers.

Last year Marnie, 31, revealed her new pout after deciding to “start again”, and said she’s “so happy” with the result.

The star has also had filler injected into her cheeks – something else she regrets and claims became “addictive”.

“I haven’t had fillers in my face in a really long time as I HATE them and I honestly wish I could turn the clock back and never touch fillers,” she admitted.

Sophie Kasaei

Sophie Kasaei admitted she became addicted to filler after she was offered free cosmetic surgery

Sophie admitted she became addicted to filler after she was offered lots of cosmetic surgery for free when she shot to fame.

In 2016 she detailed a botched lip filler job, which she says left her looking like “the elephant man”.

Speaking on Channel 5’s Celebrity Botched Up Bodies, Sophie explained: “I got it at someone’s house, I was sat on the sofa and no numbing cream or nothing she just [shoved it in]… At the time I thought I was big and clever and looked amazing but in reality I just looked like elephant man.”

Like her co-stars, Sophie also had filler elsewhere in her face. She told The Celeb Report in 2021: “When I was younger, I used to overfill my face.

“I used to get lip fillers, cheek fillers, all that. And when I got a bit older I got all that dissolved, and just restarted all again.”

Sophie said she cares less about her appearance now, but is still partial to a procedure.

In March, the 33-year-old detailed her trip to a salon to get tear trough filler, which is also referred to as under-eye filler.

More recently, she also underwent a “fox eye” procedure and Botox.

Kyle Christie

Kyle Christie has had multiple procedures since he joined Geordie Shore in 2014

Kyle, 31, has had quite the image overhaul since he joined series eight in 2014.

A year after leaving, Kyle had a £6,495 nose job, revealing he was insecure about after he broke it at a young age.

He also underwent a hair transplant, admitting: “I’m from a long line of bald lads, my brother shaved his hair when he was 15. I wasn’t losing my hair, I wanted my hairline changed because it’s always been a bit far back.”

Kyle went on to have a beard transplant, which involved having 2,000 follicles grafted onto his chin, cheeks and moustache area from his neck.

In 2016 he also unveiled the results after having chin and jaw contouring.

Months later Kyle completed his makeover with a new set of pearly white veneers.

Nathan Henry

Nathan Henry has been open about his surgery journey

Nathan, 32, has been open about his changing appearance over the years, having begun his surgery journey by plumping up his lips.

“I’m not gonna lie, I have had some filler put in,” he previously admitted.

In 2018, he was seen sporting a very different look after having filler in multiple areas of his face, including his jawline, cheeks, lips and tear ducts.

A year later he showed off the results of his new “cut glass” jawline. He told how surgeons had worked on “chiselling” his face, as he admitted he didn’t like how round his “Malteser head” was.

Gaz Beadle

He was known for his lothario ways on Geordie Shore, but Gaz’s life is very different now.

The 35-year-old, who is dad to Chester, five, and Primrose, three, with wife Emma McVey, 30, looks different, too.

Gaz also underwent a beard transplant in October 2019 and said he’ll “never regret it” as it has boosted his confidence.
