A positive turn
Geordie Shore star Aaron Chalmers has revealed that his son, Oakley, has woken from his induced coma and is now breathing on his own after battling a deadly infection. While Oakley is not yet out of the woods, his parents are relieved by the positive progress he has made.
Staying strong
After a booked operation last week, Oakley's health took a turn for the worse, leading to emergency surgery and being placed in an induced coma. Aaron and Oakley's mother, Talia, have been providing daily updates to their followers and asking for prayers.
Road to recovery
Talia shared that Oakley has opened his eyes and she was able to hold him for the first time in days after three operations. Oakley was born with Apert Syndrome, a rare genetic disorder that affects the growth of bones in the skull and face.
Outpouring of support
Fans and celebrities alike have been sending messages of support and love to the family during this challenging time. Oakley's siblings, Romeo, Maddox, and Oakley, are also part of Aaron and Talia's family.
