Owners Jasmine and Lee had a budget of £190,000 to completely overhaul the layout of the house
During the latest episode viewers watched as George visited an Edwardian era house.
The 49-year-old revealed the five-bed property was purchased for £850,000.
Owners Jasmine and Lee had a budget of £190,000 to completely overhaul the layout of the house.
The couple also told George they wanted to install a cinema in their loft conversion.
However, fans have blasted them – and the show – for being ‘out of touch’ with reality as one viewer branded it a ‘fix’.
Taking to social media, one said: “‘Snapped up for *just* £850,000’. These property programmes are getting more detached from reality with every episode. Tedious.”
A second wrote: “I do mostly enjoy @MrGeorgeClarke’s programmes but increasingly feel like it features people with incomes and lifestyles that aren’t ordinary or average. £850k 5 bedroom house & £190k budget.”
“Oh yeah my budget, you could buy a whole house for my budget, please these programs need to start living in the real world,” said a third.
While a fourth fumed: “Surely this is fixed where do they find these people who have cash galore.”
Last week viewers slammed George Clarke for ‘f***ing up’ one couple’s house.
He met Managing Director David and stay-at-home mum Claudine.
The pair were looking to completely transform their Edwardian house in the Manchester suburb of Didsbury into a liveable home.
However, despite the stunning makeover, viewers were far from impressed as they took to social media in their droves.
