GOGGLEBOX fans may need to find something else to do on Friday nights for a while – as two show favourites revealed they were filming their last show of the series.
That would mean the current run of the Channel 4 hit will come to an end after 15 episodes at 9pm this coming Friday.
And sadly that means no more Lee and Jenny, Pete and Sophie, Marcus and Big Meesh – or trips to Daniel and Stephen‘s seafront pad for a while.
Abbie Lynn, 21, and pregnant pal Georgia Bell, who is due to give birth in July, teamed up today for their last outing of the present series.
The pair posed for a picture together explaining it was their final filming day, with Abbie writing: “Last one of the series let’s goooo
.”
Her pal added: “Filming the last ep of the series” with a clapperboard emoji and tagging in a Gogglebox fan site.

Gogglebox – which is one of Channel 4’s best-loved hits – began on February 18 this year and ran for an incredible 15 episodes.
It proved an unlikely premise when it launched back in 2013, showing ordinary people watching other TV shows.
However, the entertaining comments and personalities of the carefully-picked cast – who are thought to receive £1,500 a month for their services – has proved a hit.
A peak of more than 3.5million viewers tuned in to the most recent episode on Friday night, with the show ranking just behind Beat The Chasers and ITV’s two big soaps.
It was an emotional watch with Pete Sandiford seen breaking down in tears at a particularly emotional episode of The Repair Shop.
Two of the show’s stars have been absent in recent weeks with Jenny Newby and Lee Riley’s broadcasts from the caravan taking a break after she had an operation.
Posting earlier this month he explained why she missed the TV Baftas.
He explained: “Yes she has had an operation, but it’s been on the waiting list for two years and it came Bafta week, so I was totally gutted she couldn’t be by my side last night, and she was as well.
“She’s doing well, and she’ll be out this week. I’ve told her about all the well-wishers she’s been having.
“She wanted to say ‘thank you’ and so do I, I want to say thank you for caring.”
