GOGGLEBOX’s Lee Riley jetted back to Cyprus just in time for his 27th anniversary with husband Steve.
The telly favourite – usually paired with his pal Jenny Newby on the show – looked delighted to be in sunny Cyprus with his other half following eight months of living in the UK.
Steve shared a sweet photo of the smiling couple and told his followers: “After 8 long months in England it feels amazing to be finally back home here in sunny northern Cyprus in time for our 27th anniversary.
“love you Mr Riley let the celebrations begin 
#homeiswheretheheartis”
Friends of the pair were quick to send their well-wishes, with one writing: “Congratulations Steve and Lee. 27 years – wow that has passed. Glad you managed to get home to celebrate. Have a fantastic time.”
Another commented: “Enjoy, you deserve it, but we miss you and Jenny.”
And a third said: “Happy anniversary, both of you. Enjoy and wishing you both many more happy years together.”
Last year, Lee and Steve were separated by lockdown, with Lee living in Jenny’s caravan in the UK while Steve remained in Cyprus.
Steve managed to make it over to the UK in November.
Last week, Gogglebox fans were beside themselves after favourites Jenny and Lee posted a photo of their empty sofa.
The best friends from Hull, who joined the Channel 4 cast in 2014, shared a photo of the iconic beige sofa in Lee’s caravan, but without the famous duo sitting on it.
Gogglebox’s most recent series ended last month and many fans panicked thinking the empty sofa meant it was the end of the best friends on the show.
