"Archie" is a four-part TV series that will delve into the life of Archibald Alexander Leach, who later became known as Cary Grant. Set in Bristol in the early 1900s, the show will follow Archibald's journey from extreme poverty to becoming one of Hollywood's most beloved leading men. Grant's iconic films such as "An Affair To Remember", "To Catch a Thief", and "Bringing Up Baby" will be featured, showcasing his elegant swagger and brilliant comedic skills.
An Approved Project
The series has received the approval and support of Cary Grant's daughter, Jennifer Grant, and his ex-wife, Dyan Cannon, who both serve as executive producers. BAFTA-winning Paul Andrew Williams directs the show, while award-winning writer Jeff Pope has penned the script. The production is a collaboration between ITV Studios and BritBox International.

"Archie" boasts a notable cast, including Laura Aikman, known for her roles in "Not Going Out" and "Gavin and Stacey", who will play Cary Grant's formidable ex-wife, Dyan Cannon.
