IRISH actress Niamh Cusack shot to fame in the early 90s when she starred in the much-loved show Heartbeat.
The 63-year-old enjoyed great success after appearing in the ITV drama series as Doctor Kate Rowan.

The show had eighteen seasons and ran from 1992 to 2010.
The drama follows members of the local constabulary patrol the town of Ashfordly and the nearby village of Aidensfield in the North Riding of Yorkshire.
They work to keep the peace whilst also dealing with local loveable rogues and their own love lives.
Her character died from leukaemia in series five, leaving her policeman husband Nick a widower.
Niamh decided to leave the show after becoming pregnant.
The programme is based upon the “Constable” books by Nicholas Rhea.
The Irish actress has a family full of actors and actresses.
Her three sisters are actresses and her dad joined the Royal Shakespeare Company in 1963 and had an acting career that lasted 75 years.
Niamh married fellow Irish actor Finbar Lynch who has had minor roles in hit shows Game of Thrones, Inspector George Gently and Waking the Dead.
Their son, Calam Lynch, has also gone into acting and has appeared in BBC’s drama Mrs Wilson and 2020 Disney adaptation of Black Beauty.
He also appeared in an episode of Derry Girls and is in the second series of Netflix series Bridgerton.
