Holly Willoughby predicted to leave This Morning ‘within weeks’ as she prepares to take a break from the show

HOLLY Willoughby is predicted to leave This Morning ‘within weeks’ as she prepares to take a break from the show.

Earlier today, it was revealed that the presenter and her co-host Phillip Schofield are due to take time off from the ITV programme, as their behind-the-scenes feud rumbles on.

Phil and Holly have suffered a fallout behind-the-scenes of the show

Holly, 42, and Phil, 61, saw their once-close relationship crumble in recent weeks – and the pair are being given a week off in June.

In light of the break, and their backstage fall-out, it has now been predicted that the mum-of-three could leave the show.

Bookmaker William Hill have given Holly 4/1 odds to walk away from the show before the start of June.

Spokesperson Lee Phelps said: “There seems to be plenty to suggest that Holly’s time on This Morning might be coming to an end.

“We offer 4/1 that she departs her role by the end of the month.”

The bookmaker also predicted that instead of the daytime show, Holly might instead take up a presenting role on a rival programme.

She’s currently listed at 6/1 to join the panel of Loose Women, and 20/1 to take over I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here.

The Celeb Report revealed earlier this week that Phillip faces the axe from This Morning amid a “seismic” summer shake-up.

Insiders say many believe the time is finally up for Phil, who has hosted the ITV juggernaut since 2002.

This Morning’s boss Martin Frizell could also be in line for the chop, according to staff — as ITV top brass attempt a major overhaul of the embattled series.

However those working on the daytime show say they understand that popular co-presenter Holly’s job will be safe.

A source said: “This Morning is preparing for some seismic changes this summer — and Phil is lined up as the first major name for the chop when his contract expires this summer.

“It’s highly unlikely he’ll be back in September.

“Plans are being drawn up for a new look This Morning and, at the moment, Phil is not featuring in them. He has worked on the show for over two decades. Many feel it is time for some fresh blood.”
