She wrote: “First day back filming this morning with a 7:2am make up call.

“Hair and make up done only to be sent home cos of sickness. I’m not ill but stay safe people
?
.”

Referring to the glam selfie she’s posted, Haiesha added: “U know when you have a good make-up day tho.”

The nature of the illness is not known. The Celeb Report contacted reps for Hollyoaks this afternoon.

The Channel 4 soap, which airs first-look episodes on E4, has been one of the soap survivors during the Covid outbreak.

It managed to stay on air until the end of July during the first lockdown last year and is known to enforce strict rules to prevent infection.

Actress Haiesha joined Hollyoaks in 2017 as “cool kid” Yasmine, who instantly clashed with Peri Lomax.

Posting last month she hailed her co-stars on the soap, particularly Rishi Nair, who quit just before Christmas.

She wrote on Instagram: “When I first started on Hollyoaks I never thought I’d gain a brother for life.

“The Maalik’s mean a great deal to me but you Rish, you’re my big brother.

“It has been an absolute honour to work alongside you these last 4 years and it goes without saying that we’re all incredibly proud of you and we can’t wait to see what you do next
?
