HOLLYOAKS star Steph Waring has revealed she’s engaged to boyfriend Tom Brookes.
Tom popped the question on the couple’s first anniversary after whisking her to the Lake District for the weekend.
Steph shared her sparkler on Instagram, writing: “And on the 365th day he asked me to be his wife.
“He’s the one.”
The couple sealed the romantic moment with a passionate kiss, and the diamond ring was on full display as Steph held her man’s face.
Tom shared another snap of his bride-to-be and called Steph his “best friend”.
The newly-engaged actress’s soap co-star Ross Adams, commented: “The HARDEST secret to keep. I’m so glad I can now speak to you everyday. Congratulations to you both. Now let’s get planning that hen. Xxxx.”
Denise Welch wrote: “Congratulations both of you.”

The 43-year-old actress – who has played Cindy Cunningham in the Channel 4 soap since 1996 – went Instagram official with Tom in March.
She announced their four-month relationship with a series of loved-up snaps on social media.
The star previously dated personal trainer Dan Hooper from 2008 to 2014, and they share a daughter together called Lexi, 11.
The beauty also dated Riad Erraji after her split from Dan but things came to an end in 2015.
