HONEY Boo Boo has concerned fans who believe the teen’s not old enough to undergo weight loss surgery.

Fans weighed in with their opinions in an online thread, where many thought that Honey Boo Boo – real name, Alana Thompson – was “too young” to undergo the surgery.
“She is quite young to be making this decision, especially since this surgery has long-lasting effects on your life, and she is not even an adult yet,” one person commented.
“I would be surprised if she understands the physical implications, and that she still has to work to get and keep the weight off,” they added.
“I don’t think this is a good idea for ANY 17 year old, but given her family history I don’t think it will do much good,” another remarked.

In May, the Mama June: From Not to Hot star exclusively told The Celeb Report she wasn’t opposed to getting another procedure after gaining 100 pounds since her surgery.
“I’ve thought about doing the gastric sleeve again, like the revision surgery, but who knows, I would have to take care of some other issues first before I can be able to do that,” the 42-year-old said.
The family matriarch’s other daughters, Jessica Shannon and Anna Caldwell, also went under the knife for total body makeovers.
The duo shelled out a whopping $111,000 worth of plastic surgery and body enhancements for their transformations.

ALANA’S PLANS
Alana appears to have a similar goal as she will travel to Queens, New York, to undergo weight loss surgery in late August after celebrating her 17th birthday, her rep told TMZ.
The TLC alum has opted for a “suture sculpt endoscopic sleeve” from doctor Steven Batash, which can cost upwards of $13K.
The TV personality has explained that she’s reached 275 pounds and hopes to get down to 150 in order to live a healthier lifestyle.
After trying her luck at diets and exercise over the past year, Alana said her results had been limited.
The young star explained to her rep that she’s concerned her weight gain is genetic, and surgery is the only way to drop the pounds.
The former pageant girl’s manager said her older sister and full-time guardian, Lauryn “Pumpkin“, Efird 22, is behind the decision.
Alana’s boyfriend, Dralin, 21, has also offered support and decided to undergo the procedure alongside the TV star.
TOO MATURE
The Mama June: Road to Redemption star has recently been criticized for acting too mature for her age.
Earlier this month, she was slammed for overdoing it with too much makeup and fake eyelashes.
Alana clapped back at haters in a TikTok video where she appeared with a full face of glam.
She stared directly at the camera in the brief clip while addressing an onscreen statement.
“Everyone: You really shouldn’t wear them long lashes & nails! It’s really unprofessional for you.”
She responded with a lip-synched answer.
“Me: I literally told you chitlin eating b***hes, the girls that get it, get it. And the girls that don’t, don’t.”
Her fans on TikTok seemed to “get it,” agreeing with her in the comments section.
One follower commented: “Spot on girl!”
Another added: It’s honestly annoying seeing those comments cause it’s like, if the person enjoys it, let them enjoy it.”
