Behind the Scenes Secrets Revealed by TikTok Star
A TikTok star, Chikamso Chukwuenyem, recently opened up about her experience as an extra on the popular Netflix show, Sex Education.
The hit series, which followed the lives of British teenagers and adults in the fictional town of Moordale, concluded its fourth season last year.
An Unfortunate Blunder
Chikamso's excitement turned sour when a major on-set blunder led to her being cut from every scene.
During a crucial moment, she was asked to walk across the camera while a character addressed a crowd. The instruction was to mime, but Chikamso mistakenly started talking instead.
The director, annoyed by her error, promptly moved her to the very back of the scene. Eventually, her scenes were completely removed from the final edit of the show.
Spilling the Beans
Aside from her unfortunate mishap, Chikamso also shared some behind-the-scenes gossip with her fans.
While interacting with the show's lead stars, she revealed that most of the main cast members were present, except for the white gay bully and Maeve.
Chikamso also mentioned her encounter with Ruby, who was constantly vaping on set. She jokingly told Ruby to be mindful of others who might have asthma.
As for Otis, Chikamso found him to be approachable and friendly. However, she decided to take a different approach and not engage with him, hoping to pique his curiosity. Unfortunately, her plan didn't work out as she had hoped.
A Farewell to Sex Education
Last year, Sex Education bid farewell to its beloved characters as Asa Butterfield, Ncuti Gatwa, and Emma Mackey said goodbye after four seasons.
The trio gained fame for their work on the hit Netflix show.
