GREAT British Bake Off contestant Dan Chambers starred in the 10th season of the beloved baking competition, but has recently slammed the judge’s decision for sending him home.
In 2019, Dan Chambers joined a batch of hopeful contestants hoping to be crowned the Great British Bake Off champion.

He showed off his baking skills to make it to the end of the Channel 4 competition, but sadly Dan was booted from the show in week one after having “raw” buttercream.
Speaking about his early exit from the competition, Dan said at the time: “Well it wasn’t a piece of cake at all!
“I put buttercream on my hot fruit cake and because it had been sat for two hours the buttercream had seeped everywhere.
“On TV the judges said it was raw. I admit it wasn’t very good, but it wasn’t raw,” he confessed.
Dan confessed that it was embarrassing for him, sharing: “on TV the judges said it was raw” and he admitted “it wasn’t very good, but it wasn’t raw.”
“I love fruit cake and it hasn’t put me off making one, but next time I won’t make it in three hours.
Casting his mind back to the first day, Dan said it was a ‘long day’.
He revealed: “You get to the tent and you do the signature. When you’re baked and finished you would leave your station exactly how it is for two hours while everything is tidied up.”
Unfortunately for Dan he was the first one to be booted off the show in week one because of his “raw” buttercream.
And if that wasn’t enough, after leaving the filming process Dan explained that he then had to wait months before he could even confirm he was part of the show.
Dan also spoke about about the judge’s decision to kick him off the show – opening up about the gruelling filming process and what goes on behind the scenes.
“The lead up to the show was really stressful, really horrible actually,’” he confessed. “You can’t tell anybody, and I was sticking to that.”
“I had a bad week, but I will definitely take away the friendships.”
