ONE 63 year old man was left flabbergasted on Long Lost Family: Born Without Trace when he discovered that he had 18 siblings despite not knowing they existed for his entire life.
Harvey Shackell had faced turmoil over his devastating start in life which saw him abandoned as a baby on a stranger’s doorstep.

A newborn baby, he was left in a cardboard box on Christmas Day in 1960 in a home that belonged to a Mr and Mrs Wood.
Among many bombshells on tonight’s edition of the popular ITV series, Harvey was reunited with Vera Wood, now 88, the lady who had originally found him.
Vera insisted that she would have happily brought Harvey up with her husband but he was quickly adopted by another family.
Chatting to her, an emotional Harvey said: “You saved my life really. If it wasn’t for you, I wouldn’t be here now.”
However, the biggest shock for Harvey was upon discovering that he actually had a whopping 18 siblings despite being abandoned as a child.
Through DNA testing, the programme’s experts discovered a full sibling for Harvey, a sister named Cherry.
Cherry was left shocked to discover that she had a full brother and was totally unaware that her parents had ever given up a child.
Sadly, both of Harvey’s parents had passed away but Cherry appeared for information from within the family where she came to the conclusion that it was her father, who had a troubled relationship with their mother, who had ordered Harvey to be sent away for undisclosed reasons.
She believed that their mother had no say in his abandonment.
A woman whom Cherry’s father had been having an affair with was present at Harvey’s birth and admitted that both women were shocked when his father took him away to never be seen again.
Cherry also explained that Harvey had a further full sibling who did not wish to be publicly identified on the programme.
In a chat with the show’s host Nicky Campbell, Cherry expressed her ‘regret’ that Harvey was “just gotten rid of”.
Having discovered he had two full siblings, Harvey was left agog at hearing that he had a further SIXTEEN half-siblings.
His biological father had enjoyed multiple relationships with multiple women and was a father to nineteen.
Having been reunited with Cherry, Harvey later had a Zoom call with some more of his siblings who were living all across Europe.
