Viewers criticize Maura Higgins for her attitude
I’M A Celeb viewers have gotten annoyed with one of the contestants for complaining so much about life in the jungle. Dean previously became unpopular with fans of the reality show for whinging about doing camp chores – but now someone else is in the firing line. Maura Higgins has been criticised for her ‘constant moaning’ as I’m A Celeb aired tonight.
Maura’s struggles with jungle life
The former Love Island star nearly cried at the start of the episode, telling her fellow campmates that she couldn’t believe they had to pay for simple luxuries like having a shower now. She seemed fed up of living rough as the day progressed. When other celebs earned a few slices of chocolate cake after scoring highly during a Bushtucker Trial, she was clearly stung by the green-eyed monster. Maura told one of her teammates: “I’ve never felt this unhappy in my life.” During a confessional she also admitted she hopes everyone who got a slice of cake “has the sh*ts”. She bitterly added: “They sucked their fingers in front of us!”
Fans react to Maura’s behavior
While some people were amused by the scene, several viewers were unimpressed by her attitude, and took to social media to comment on it. One person wrote: “It’s no wonder why Maura is single, all she does is moan.” Another exclaimed: “Blimey, doesn’t Maura like to moan!” A third hit out: “Maura is the female Dean.” Someone else joked: “No chocolate, and octopus for dinner… Maura is about to commit a felony.”
