Viewers think the politician has more TV work lined-up with ITV

Last night, rugby ace Mike Tindall was evicted, leaving fans shocked, considering MP Matt’s divisive appearance on the series from the start.

Viewers are crying ‘fix’ in droves, with some suggesting that Matt may have more work lined-up with ITV, while more theories include ITV wanting to make the most of his gigantic £400k fee.

One wrote: “Is ITV planning more follow up shows with Matt Hancock or something? Baffled that he’s made it to the final. #ImACeleb”

Another posted: “Matt must have more work with ITV in the pipeline LOL.”

A third said: “I wake up to find Matt Hancock is in the final of #ImaCeleb. This is either a fix (which I very much doubt) or the country has hit the peak level of stupidity/gullibility.”

Someone else said: “They want to make the most of the huge fee the paid Matt by keeping him in. #ImACeleb”

ITV was contacted for comment and a spokesperson said: “To be absolutely clear, our programmes are not fixed.

“To suggest that as a broadcaster we would knowingly deceive our audience by rigging the outcome of our programmes is untrue.

“Viewer Trust is a key foundation of ITV’s editorial values.

“Broadcasting is tightly regulated and we have a duty not to materially mislead or deliberately deceive our audience. All of our programmes are subject to strict compliance.”

Now, alongside Jill Scott and Owen Warner, he stands a chance of being crowned King of the Jungle.

Today, the viewers will be able to vote for this year’s winner.

Currently, the bookies have England Lioness Jill Scott as the potential victor of this year’s series.

I’m A Celebrity finale airs Sunday at 9pm on ITV, and is available on ITVX.
