I’m A Celebrity fans turn on David Ginola after ‘ridiculous’ outburst

I’M A Celebrity viewers have fallen out of love with David Ginola after he clashed with Louise Minchin in last night’s episode.

The French footballer, 54, did not take kindly to camp leader Louise, 53, ordering him to do his chores.

David Ginola had a row with Louise Minchin last night

He warned her not to be “too bossy” and claimed she was taking her role too seriously.

Viewers weren’t impressed with his attitude. One wrote on Twitter: “There was really no need for David to speak to Louise like that #ImACeleb.”

Another said: “Liked David at the beginning, but he has shown he is so full of himself & has a nasty streak. Intimidating and disrespectful while demanding respect from everyone else.”

A third posted: “How is David patronising Louise like that ?!? Can’t take orders from anyone this guy ?! Unless he’s in charge .. ass #imaceleb.”

The pair clashed as she took the football legend to task for griping about camp jobs.

The former BBC Breakfast star – who had hinted of a row to come when she was booted from the show two nights ago – complained of stars dodging their chores.

She said: “It’s really frustrating, nothing can happen unless someone else has done their job. We can’t have breakfast because the pans aren’t clean.

“We can’t have the pans clean because the boiler is not lit. The boiler is not lit because there’s only a little bit of wood.”

But David told her: “Don’t go too bossy Louise. Don’t take your leadership too seriously.”

Making clear he wasn’t joking, he added: “No, no, honestly. It’s fine… but take it down…”

Louise replied bluntly: “If we do that, we won’t eat.”

Explaining the clash later, he said: “It’s very simple, I said to Louise, ‘Don’t take it seriously, please. Stay calm, OK.’

“It’s just a role in the castle. Don’t patronise, please, don’t do that.”

Louise later said privately to Frankie: “I’ve also had a telling off by David Ginola. You need to calm down your leadership.”

She added: “I said nothing, I just got everybody moving this morning. I just don’t like being told off by anybody.”

Frankie resassured her: “That’s the job you’ve been given, I don’t think you’re being an a*** about it.

“Don’t let it bother you, because you’ve not done anything.”

Louise was eliminated on Thursday night
