CHARLES Hanson has opened up about some of his unique finds while filming Antiques Road Trip.
The expert has been a staple on Bargain Hunt since the beginning and, more recently, he became a familiar face on Antiques Road Trip.

The programme sees Charles travelling up and down the country with a fellow expert looking for unique treasures to sell at auction.
The expert who makes the biggest profit from their antiques will then go on to win the challenge.
Charles went on to admit, however, that he doesn’t always get it right.
Discussing some of his wins, Charles told the Daily Express: “I’ve been on Antiques Road Trip and I’ve bought things for £1 and they’ve made £200.

“Another time, I bought a ceiling light for £150 and it made £1,800.”
The expert, who also runs his own business called Hansons Auctioneers, went on to recall some of his more bizarre finds.
Charles once sold a piece of King Charles III‘s uneaten toast from his wedding day to Princess Diana.
“We were selling a piece of toast for Prince Charles on his wedding day… he couldn’t eat,” the presenter remembered.
“When my client’s mother cleaned his breakfast tray in July 1981 on his wedding day, he left that piece of toast.”
Another fond memory of Charles’ is when he was brought a rare Chinese vase to value.
“My highlight was a Chinese vase we found in a house in Birmingham,” he said.
“It was Aunt Beryl’s vase, which was given to our client in 1976.
“They had no idea of value, and I went to the house and met the two grandchildren who held the vase out for me.
“I said, ‘Be careful, put it down’. I thought it might make £50,000 and it made £700,000.”
