EMMERDALE fans were left baffled as a major beloved villager disappears from the ITV soap.
Ethan Anderson (Emile John) has barely featured in the ITV soap despite his grandmother arriving in the village.

Ethan was last seen on a night out with Victoria
Newcomers Charles Anderson (Kevin Mathurin) and his mother Claudette (Flo Wilson) has just arrived in village.
And since their arrival, Claudette has made sure Manpreet Sharma (Rebecca Sarker) has had no time alone with Charles.
She has been complaining about her back pain, which means Charles is at her beck and call.
However, Manpreet is suspicious Claudette is faking her symptoms.
Meanwhile, fans are questioning where Ethan is.
Taking to Twitter, one said: “#Emmerdale did I miss Ethan leaving cos haven’t seen him for a while.”
Another wrote: “#Emmerdale I know Ethan is a snob but where is the character? Last time I saw Ethan he got dumped by Marcus and called boring.”
A third penned: “Not that I care cos he’s dull as but what’s happened to Ethan, a bit weird that his Gran has turned up, yet he’s nowhere to be seen #emmerdale.”
Ethan was last seen in the Dales when he went on a night out with Victoria Sugden (Isabel Hodgins) after he broke up with Marcus Dean (Darcy Grey).
Marcus cheated on Ethan with Joe just before Ethan got down on one knee to propose.
Ethan was left heartbroken by Marcus’ betrayal and Victoria tried to help him move on with a night out in Hotton.
But fans are confused about Ethan’s whereabouts as he should want to see his grandmother, especially if she was in pain.
ITV viewers hope Ethan’s disappearance will be explained soon.
