They will then be pitted against each other to complete tasks – and the winner will be hailed as “the brightest star in the galaxy.”

A TV insider told us: “This show is zany and different – audiences haven’t seen anything like it before.

“It will be a challenge and some will struggle with the conditions.

“The celebs will live, sleep and eat together – and those who don’t cut the mustard will get voted off.

“Talent bosses are currently floating ideas for a presenter and celebs to take part.”

A US version of the series, featuring Star Trek actor William Shatner, will air on American channel Fox in June.

Meanwhile, the UK’s version is set for next year.

Meanwhile, swapping space for ice cold climes, equally daring BBC series Freeze The Fear has reportedly been put on hold for a second series.

ITV’s new space series comes after we recently revealed the full I’m Celebrity All Stars line-up as the popular reality series treats fans to a spin off.

Called I’m A Celebrity… South Africa, this brand new series brings together nine past jungle legends and is even taking place in a different camp.

Back in May 2022, show hosts Ant and Dec confirmed they would be doing an All Stars spin-off of I’m A Celebrity.

Unlike the the original version of the show, this new series has already been pre-recorded, and was actually filmed in November 2022.
