Jack Fincham says he’ll ‘always regret’ losing This Morning job after boozy night out killed ITV career

JACK Fincham has admitted he will “always regret” the boozy night out which led to him being axed from This Morning.

The 32-year-old, who won Love Island with Dani Dyer back in 2018,  landed a series of TV jobs after being on the show, including on the day time TV favourite.

But he ended up getting sacked after he failed to turn up to work following a night out.

Speaking about the moment that halted his TV career, Jack said: “I’m still forever sorry about that. I went out and I didn’t wake up and it’s my own fault. I was working and I was having such a brilliant time doing the competitions with Andi Peters, having a whale of a time going all over Europe doing live tele.

“I was loving it. Instead of people coming up to me saying Love Island, they’d say ‘loved your competition the other day’.”

At the time Jack was also filming Celebs Go Dating and ended up partying too hard at the wrap party and missed his alarm for work the next day.

He continued to the Original Penguin X Campaign Against Living Miserably Under The Surface podcast: “I remember they were just so angry. I was so apologetic, but that messed a lot of things up for me, and I’m still trying to come back from that now.

“It has impacted so much, but I’m a different person today and I think so much more. I’ve always only ever learned the hard way, unfortunately.”

He added: “When you come out, they give you a lesson on what not to do. Did I listen to any of it? No, but they did tell me. I made some right idiotic decisions after, getting caught up.”

Jack’s comments come after he told The Celeb Report he is once again single after splitting from stunning brunette Jodie Ella.

And he teased he wouldn’t mind returning to the villa, like Kady McDermott has done this year.

He told us: “Oh yeah of course I’d go back on the show. I’d love to.

“It’s like a perfect environment to meet someone. You haven’t got to worry about your phone or going to work or cooking! I’m not just trying to get out of work but yeah, I’d go back on the show in a heartbeat.”
