JACQUES O’Neill was close to tears as he begged Paige Thorne to take him back after the Love Island recoupling drama last night.
Friday’s instalment of the ITV2 drama saw the antics of Casa Amor come to light.
Earlier this week the girls went over to the dreaded sister villa, while the boys stayed in the main villa to test their current relationships.
One person who couldn’t help himself was Jacques, who decided to get to know bombshells Cheyanne Kerr, 23, and Mollie Salmon, 23, despite things going very well with original girl Paige, 24.
On Thursday the paramedic was left heartbroken when Cheyanne revealed that she had been kissing and flirting with the rugby player while she was away.
Jacques broke down in tears shortly after telling best pal Luca Bish, 23, that there was no point him being in the villa and he wouldn’t let her forgive him.

Then last night he took Paige aside to beg her for forgiveness.
Jacques told her: “I don’t want to lose you and it’s simple as that. I’m sorry for hurting you. I genuinely never want to hurt you again.”
He continued: “It’s literally made me realise I only want you. If you don’t feel like you want me or anything that is fine, I understand. From now on, it’s just you and that is it.”
“I just feel like you’re not ready for relationship things, you’re not at that level yet where I am at to deal with stuff the way I would deal with things or how I would be treated and respected.
“You’re not there. You’ve got to be better Jacques.”
“I want to be better for you,” he replied.
Jacques entered the villa four weeks ago as a bombshell.
The Islanders were left shocked when it was revealed that he is Michael Owen’s daughter Gemma Owen‘s ex.
But he wasn’t interested in winning the professional equestrian back – he made it clear that he was interested in Paige.
The pair coupled up on day 12 and things were going from strength to strength until bombshell Jay Younger, 28, entered the villa and showed his interested in the Welsh beauty.
Paige said that she wanted to get to know them both, but she soon realised she had a better connection with Jacques.
During that time Jay stole Paige from Jacques and he had to couple up with Danica Taylor, 21, between day 18 and 23.
Things were fine between Paige and Jacques before Casa Amor, but now they’ve hit another bump in the road.
Will Paige be able to forgive him?
