JAMES Argent couldn’t stopped grinning as he grabbed pal Ferne McCann for a kiss in a cute Instagram post.
The reality star, nicknamed Arg, also danced around in the short video filmed by his former TOWIE co-star.
James, 33, then re-shared the post on his own Instagram stories and told his fans: “Getting my confidence back”.
The singer, who recently lost five stone in weight, looked completely at ease as he hung out with Ferne and her three-year-old daughter Sunday at their Essex home.
The pair have been close friends for years, with Ferne, 30, supporting Arg with his weightloss goals and his split from former girlfriend Gemma Collins.
Ferne has even been seen joining Arg for his training as he prepares to take part in a charity swim.
In June, he will participate in two open water challenges, the John West Great North Swim and the John West Great East Swim.
James in turn has been a good friend to Ferne following her split in 2017 from Sunday’s dad, acid attacker Arthur Collins.
More recently, the mum-of-one called time on her relationship with model and marketing manager Jack Padgett.
Arg has set himself a target of losing a massive eight stones after undergoing gastric band surgery which removed 70 per cent of his stomach.
The reality TV favourite spoke candidly on Steph’s Packed Lunch on how “scary” it felt to have tipped the scales at 27 stone.
Arg shocked fans last year when he ballooned to the weight during lockdown, admitting he swapped his drink and drug addiction for food.
Detailing how he felt prior to the surgery, he told the Channel 4 show host: “It felt horrible, I was always extremely uncomfortable, I couldn’t look at myself in the mirror.
“It felt depressing and it just wasn’t me. Now I’m starting to feel like myself again and I’m excited about what the future is going to bring.
“It was scary being 27 stone… It was serious, doctors were telling me how dangerous it was… I knew it was something I had to address pretty quickly.”
Arg added: “I’m four stone lighter now. It’s a really good start. Four stone out of 11 or 12 might seem like a drop in the ocean but I’m pleased I’ve made progress already.
“I feel so much happier already, I feel healthier already, I’m lighter on my toes, I’m more confident. I’m really loving life at the moment.”
Gushing over the gastric band op, Arg hailed it “the best thing I’ve ever done.”
