Jeremy Clarkson shouts in pain as he’s kicked by a sheep in brutal first trailer for his new Amazon farming show

JEREMY Clarkson shouted in pain after he was kicked by a sheep in the brutal first trailer for his new Amazon farming show.

The 61-year-old star of The Grand Tour is swapping fast cars for tractors in his new Amazon Prime Video series.

Jeremy owns a 1,000 acre farm despite the fact he openly admits to knowing nothing about farming.

The new series will follow him as he tries to learn how to run the farm himself, and all the hurdles he faces along the way.

In the trailer, Jeremy is seen buying a flock of sheep, and at one point one of them kicks him hard, causing him to shout out in pain.

The trailer also reveals how nature itself caused Jeremy a multitude of problems, from the worst rain in years to acres of rape seeds failing to flourish like he’d hoped.

Then there is just the small matter of the Coronavirus pandemic, which also slowed down Jeremy’s progress in getting his crops planted in time for harvest.

Helped only by his gang of agricultural associates, Jeremy quickly discovers that a modern farmer must be a conservationist, scientist, shepherd, shopkeeper, midwife, engineer, accountant and tractor driver, often at the same time.

Despite the calamities that ensue, this is most definitely not “The Grand Tour goes farming.”

The failures on the farm have real emotional consequences and Jeremy, completely out of his comfort zone, must lean on others as he strives to grow crops, rear sheep and pull off environmental projects that are close to his heart.

The trailer certainly provides some laughs too, especially when a bewildered Jeremy can only watch as his flock of sheep jump a wall as he tries to herd them.

He is also seen being berated by a young farmer for failing to drive his tractor in straight lines while turning the soil and planting the seeds.

Clarkson’s Farm will launch Friday June 11 on Amazon Prime Video.
