The family remained silent on social media

Despite having numerous family members that are active on social media, Josh didn’t get any posts celebrating his 34th birthday on Thursday, March 3.

Neither of his parents – Jim Bob, 56, or Michelle, 55 – wished their eldest son a happy birthday, while his 18 siblings were also silent.

Meanwhile, his wife Anna, 34, has also not wished her husband a happy birthday on his big day.

Anna’s snub might come as a surprise to some, as the Counting On alum has actively stood by Josh’s side amid his legal troubles.

The couple tied the knot in 2008, while they share seven kids together.

LONELY BIRTHDAY

Josh’s family remained silent regarding his birthday just after The Celeb Report exclusively reported that he will not have visitors or receive a special meal while in jail on his birthday.

Josh was found guilty of possessing and receiving child pornography on December 9.

Immediately after the verdict was read, Josh was handcuffed and taken into custody at Washington County Jail, where he is awaiting his April sentencing hearing.

A Washington County Jail source told The Celeb Report: “The jail doesn’t do anything special for inmate birthdays.

“There are no visits in-person right now because of Covid. Loved ones can set up video chats.”

The insider added that inmates celebrating birthdays also won’t receive special meals, as the fixed menu changes daily.

However, The Celeb Report previously reported that Josh’s family and friends are still able to show love by sending gift packages through Jail ATM.

The packages start at $22 with the Salty Care Package that includes two bags each of Doritos, Sour Cream & Onion, Cheetos, Cheetos flaming hot, Chili Cheese Fritos, Snyder’s Hot Buffalo Pieces, Andy Capp Hot Fries and Hot Peanut Tubes.

There’s also a Sweet Care Pack option, as well as the Soup Lovers Care Pack for $30.95.

Additionally, the jail also offers the A.M. Delight Care Pack for $44 and the Big Deal Care Pack for a whopping $109.

LIMITED VISITS

The only way Josh can have contact with his family is through video call or email, the Washington County Detention Center in Arkansas previously confirmed to The Celeb Report.

All visits through the jail lobby kiosk have been suspended because in light of the coronavirus pandemic.

Anna must communicate with Josh through the website Jail ATM, which provides access via email and video call.

She has been taking advantage of the option, as they made over 100 video and phone calls to each other between December 10, 2021, to January 2, 2022, The Celeb Report previously reported.

VERDICT AFTERMATH

After Josh’s sentencing, the former reality star will be transferred to federal prison for the crime and faces 20 years for each count.

The Celeb Report previously reported Josh is not allowed conjugal visits with his wife.

Following the guilty verdict, Josh’s legal team filed a motion for an acquittal of the guilty verdict, a new trial or the dismissal of the possession of child pornography charge.

Prosecutors responded by claiming “the evidence of the defendant’s guilt is clear and overwhelming.”

His attorneys then argued that the trial and guilty verdict were “unconstitutional.”

A judge has not ruled on the appeal.
