Now, fans of the programme have already picked out a fan favourite in nine year old Immy from Bath.
Immy is a lover of the outdoors and besides her plan to be crowned 2023’s Junior Bake Off, she has ambitions to represent Great Britian in the Olympics at skateboarding.
Viewers of the programme have taken to Twitter to share their love for the young star in the making and have found her ‘messy and chaotic’ antics hilarious and TV gold.
One fan of the show said of Immy: “I’m catching up with #JuniorBakeOff and my Immy obsession is deepening.”
Another shared: “I love Immy. I think she might be my spirit animal. There’s nothing wrong with being a messy baker. You be you!”
A third said of the breakout star: “Obsessed with Immy covered from head to toe in chocolate ganache.”
“Immy yeeting chopped chilli into the oven and half of it not even reaching the tray. Legend,” shared another as a fifth laughed: “Immy’s commitment to mess and chaos warms my heart.”
Whilst another penned: “That one kid on #JBO that eats everything and has a face full of chocolate and a coloured tongue! Immy gives me life.”
During the latest episode, Immy and her fellow bakers were tasked with creating a tiger-themed tiger bread that came with hilarious results.
Immy was left with a rather chaotic and untidy work station as she worked to the clock during the challenge.
Show host Harry Hill was left quipping on Immy’s ability to get more mixture on the surfaces than in the mixing bowl.
