With the finals just within reaching distance, Kye is more determined than ever to go all the way.

It comes after 22-year-old beat Stef Reid in the skate-off last week to make it through to the Dancing on Ice semis.

The Olympic champ has a very special reason for wanting to lift the trophy.

A source said: “Kye is dedicating his performance to the kids of Peckham. He’s going to be skating solo for the first time on Sunday, so he’s been putting in extra time on the ice in between BMX training.

He wants to inspire the kids who look up to him, and that’s at the heart of why he strives to be the best he can be.

So this week he wants to dedicate his skate to the kids at Peckham BMX, who vote for him every week, and rush home from training to watch him on TV.”

The Celeb Report can exclusively reveal Kye has been lined up for a string of lucrative fashion deals since becoming a household name on the hit ITV show.

The talented star has also launched his own clothing range Cattleya UK with his brother Tre.

Meanwhile many telly fans thought Kye had been underscored over the past few weeks.

One Tweeted: “Why did Kye & Tippy only get 8.5’s? He was so fast over the ice & the jumps he threw in. Doesn’t make sense.”

A second said: “Am I mad or does Kye skate more clean and energetic than Reagan and yet he gets a whole mark lower.”

A third chimed in: “Kye should be 9s and 9.5s. Ridiculous. Plus so much harder for the guy.”
