Birds of a Feather was one of the biggest BBC shows of the 90s but was axed for good last year, 32 years after it first aired.

The show had been rebooted in 2014 after a 15 year break, and last appeared on screens in the form of a 2020 Christmas special that didn’t include Pauline.

Her absence led to reports of a rift with Linda, but last summer Linda insisted that wasn’t the case.

Speaking to Kate Garraway and Adil Ray on Good Morning Britain, she said: “We haven’t had a falling out, Pauline don’t wanna act any more, she wants to concentrate on her academy.

“You’ve got to respect her wishes. We did the Christmas special, they asked us if we’d like to do it and we said yes.”

Linda also said she wouldn’t want to do the show on her own, adding: “I’m not sure if I’d be able to do it on my own.

“Lesley looks amazing. She’s 73 now and she looks the same as she did all those years ago.”
