LINE of Duty’s Vicky McClure has made nearly £1million after her total earnings from acting doubled in a year.
And that is before series six of the hit BBC cop drama, which drew a record 12.8 million viewers, is taken into account.
Vicky, 38, set to star in ITV blockbuster Trigger Point, has £779,968 in the account of the company handling her earnings.
The sum for the year to March 31, 2021, leapt from £392,562 in a year.
She established Vicky McClure Ltd in 2013 after making her debut as Kate Fleming in Line of Duty the previous year.
A TV source said: “Vicky is one of the hottest actresses around and her success is obviously paying dividends.”
