The TV personality claimed she’s had mastitis ’20 times’

Audrey, 30, took to her Instagram Story on Monday to update fans on how she’s feeling after dealing with mastitis.

Mastitis is when there’s an inflammation of breast tissue that sometimes results in an infection.

She told her followers: “I’m feeling a lot better this morning. I’m just exhausted from fighting off the mastitis, but usually I can fight it off within 24 hours and at least get my fever to break.”

The Little People, Big World star continued: “I have had mastitis now 20 times between all three kids and all three kids have had tongue and lip ties and we’re leaning towards fixing Radley’s.

“We have a consult for it next week.”

Audrey recently welcomed her third child, Radley, with husband Jeremy Roloff, 31, earlier this month.

She continued in the series of videos: “I just wanted to say thank you guys for all of your prayers and also all of your educational messages about tongue and lip ties and just hearing your experiences with your own kids and them.

“And also your experience or things that have worked for you with mastitis.”

Audrey added that she’s become an expert on conditions, noting: “I feel like I could literally write a book about mastitis and tongue and lip ties.”

FANS REACT

Shortly after the TV personality posted the videos, fans rushed to Reddit to beg the star to get help from a doctor.

One person wrote: “Omg Audrey go to a freakin doctor!!!!”

Others slammed Audrey for refusing to get the condition treated, as one fan commented: “Why does she keep telling us this? Girl, we know you won’t go get antibiotics at the doctor. We don’t need to hear about your bleeding and dry and chaffing nippes. There is a point where you can share too damn much.”

Another added: “She is so annoying so proud she had mastitis.”

A following fan chimed in: “If she actually has it, could it just be that it never went away because she’s treating it with oils and not actual antibiotics?”

The backlash continued as someone else wrote: “She may be misinformed. Mastitis is an actual infection that takes about a week and antibiotics to go away. When I had it, I had flu-like symptoms; fever, vomiting, painful breast, etc. It isn’t simply a clogged duct or sore breast, but an actual infection. You don’t just get it several times a week.”

AUDREY’S PAIN

Just days after welcoming Radley, Audrey admitted she was “hurting” and “crying tears of pain.”

While sharing photos with her new son, Audrey said that the postpartum experience isn’t always fun.

Alongside a photograph of her nose red and blotchy, she wrote: “This is what you hardly ever see on the other side of the screen.

“An overflowing postpartum nightstand with a very tired, hurting, recovering mama. Tears of joy as she swoons over her newborn baby and tears of pain as she aches in too many places to count.”

In addition to Radley, Jeremy and Audrey share kids Ember, 4, and Bode, 1.
