Loose Women fails to congratulate Stacey Solomon on baby news leaving fans confused

THE ladies of Loose Women caused confusion amongst fans as they failed to congratulate Stacey Solomon on her pregnancy news.

Coleen Nolan, Linda Robson, Denise Welch and Kelle Bryan took to the airwaves for Thursday’s edition of the ITV Daytime panel show.

But fans of Loose Women took to twitter to express their confusion as they thought there was an omission from the programme.

As the show started and the ladies took their seats on the set, Coleen started reading the autocue as normal.

Despite the momentous news that Stacey Solomon announced her fifth pregnancy, there was absolutely no mention of it on the programme at all.

Instead, the programme went straight into pre-planned segments including a discussion on Christmas decorations and presents and there was no mention throughout the show.

But fans were quick to assert that this is because the programme might be pre-recorded.

One Twitter user wrote: “Now, you know #LooseWomen’s not live if they don’t mention Stacey’s baby news.”

Another said: “#ThisMorning now #LooseWomen both pre recorded, else they would be straight on comments about Stacey Solomon being preggers again.. !!”

Whilst a third replied: “It’s why they are not tackling current news stories and how Phil linked to Colleen as they were scheduled.”

This comes after Stacey Solomon announced that she was pregnant with her fifth child.

The 33-year-old announced she is having another baby with actor husband Joe Swash, 40, on Instagram tonight.

Stacey shared a video of her in the bathroom with her pregnancy test.

The TV star shouts for Joe, telling him: “Come in!”

As she waves the test in his direction he gasps and says: “What are you holding? You’re joking.”

His wife says “no” as Joe collapses to the floor and gives her a hug.
