Lorraine Kelly, the popular TV presenter, has firmly denied ongoing speculation that she is the celebrity hiding behind the Owl mask on The Masked Singer. The Scottish host addressed the rumors during her show, Lorraine, on ITV, where she also shared her thoughts on who she believes the Owl could be.

Speculation swirls around Lorraine

The entertainment reporter for Lorraine, Tyler West, playfully suggested that Lorraine herself could be the mystery celebrity. Lorraine responded with a laugh, saying, "Me, me, I can't possibly say." However, she did mention that she agrees with the theory that the Owl could be retired footballer Alex Scott, citing the connection between the color tangerine (associated with Dundee United, Lorraine's hometown team) and Blackpool, where Alex Scott participated in Strictly Come Dancing.

Clues and contradictions

During their playful exchange, Tyler West revealed a couple of clues that seemed to align with Lorraine's life. He mentioned that Lorraine had recently attended a Kylie Minogue concert, and the Owl on The Masked Singer had performed one of Kylie's songs. Additionally, Tyler pointed out that Lorraine has a dog and an early-morning alarm, which matches the nocturnal nature of owls.

Trying to remain coy, Lorraine responded, "I'm saying I'm not saying anything, is what I am saying. Because...well... somebody said they thought I was the rat, and I'm not sure how I feel about that, to be honest. It's because the rat had tartan on in some of the clues. So I maybe or maybe not."
