LOVE Island fans have called out a bizarre editing blunder – with Mitch Taylor at the heart of the mishap.
It came after ITV2 viewers witnessed the gas engineer and partner Ella B clear the air after he doubted her feelings.

Earlier this week, Mitch told the lads he doubted his connection with Ella B – who arrived as a bombshell – before dubbing her “fake.”
Mitch then sensationally claimed the glam star is more bothered about being in the villa than being with him, before doing a complete u-turn the following day.
After their final date, Mitch and Ella last night took to the Love Island bean bags for a candid chat.
She told him: “Yeah, obviously we’re not just going to be OK straightaway, I don’t want to brush things under the carpet, because what you did say was hurtful.”
Yet after their heart-to-heart, Mitch was then seen back in bed with an eye mask over his forehead.
The lads got a text for a challenge – which saw the Sheffield lad sit bolt upright suggesting he might have been fast asleep just moments before.
Fans took to X formerly known as Twitter to call out the bizarre chain of events and suggested an editing blunder.
One put: “How is Mitch now back in bed after his chat with Ella?”
A second put: “They must’ve known they were getting a text cos otherwise they wouldn’t have been allowed to stay in the bedroom.”
A third added: “And all of them together coincidentally like please.”
Love Island fans recently claimed to have worked out the real reason for Mitch’s swipe at Ella.
The pair had narrowly swerved eviction when the islanders chose Scott and Abi as the least compatible – meaning they were booted out.
Now fans think they have sussed Mitch’s reasoning for his comments, this being a form of self-preservation.
One fan took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to write: “Mitch is calculated, he only called Ella B fake because he knows he’s gunna be dumped next and doesn’t want to be embarrassed by his boys.”
Another put: “Mitch: I think Ella B is fake (after being in the last 3) — um did you ever consider you’re the fake one hun?”
Former Love Island star Kady McDermott has also had her say – branding both Mitch and Ella B fake.
Speaking with Heat, Kady said: “Ella B and Mitch. It’s fake from both sides.
“In the villa we were with each other every second of the day. We know if there is genuine connections or not.
“Them two are faking it.”
