Love Island fans furious as they slam ad break after just TEN minutes

LOVE Island fans were tonight left furious when the show cut to an advert break just ten minutes into the opening episode.

The ITV2 reality show kicked off tonight with a brand new batch of sexy singletons all looking for love this summer.

Love Island fans were furious at all the advert breaks

The opening episode cut to commercials after just ten minutes

But as the show started to introduce the new Islanders, it went to an advert break.

The Love Island season 8 premiere episode then continued to cut to the ads around every ten minutes.

The fact that the show was stopped for commercials so soon, infuriated fans.

Viewers immediately took to Twitter to vent their frustration at the reality show going on an advert break so soon: “Haven’t missed the advert breaks every 10 mins ffs!!”

This one lashed out: “I forgot how f***ing annoying this show is, with taking advert breaks during peak moments…”

While this one said: “And there is an advert…. Already!”

Meanwhile, the opening episode of the show also featured a MAJOR twist which saw the couple’s being paired off by the public.

Usually the Islanders choose who they like the look of, but this year producers decided to shake things up a bit.

So in a twist, they put it to fans to couple up the Islanders.

Meanwhile, ex-footballer Michael Owen’s daughter Gemma is part of this year’s line-up.

The show’s first deaf contestant Tasha Ghouri is also taking part and is looking for love this summer.

The Celeb Report previously reported that the 2022 series could run for 10 weeks.

An insider told us: “This series is going to be the longest ever and it’s from a brand new location so it’s all very exciting.”

Love Island will air every night at 9pm on ITV2.
