Gemma and Luca placed second on this year’s series
Over the past eight weeks Luca’s friends and family have rushed to social media to show their love and support.
And yesterday, when Luca arrived back in the UK at Stanstead airport with his co-stars, his mum Maria opted for an outfit with a discreet message.
Maria looked over the moon to be reunited with her son – and rocked a jumper than had “Head high and f*** em all” printed on the front.
Luca and Michael Owen’s daughter Gemma, 19, placed second on the show earlier this week.

The pair’s journey went from strength to strength after they got together on day five.
After a few bumps in the road, they stayed coupled up from day 18 – and weren’t swayed by Casa Amor.
However Luca’s behaviour in the villa recieved a number of OfCom complaints.
The tatted hunk got into an argument with Gemma after she licked Adam Collard’s chest in a challenge – which ended up in him storming out of the villa.
That resulted in 286 complaints being made.
Over the course of the series, Love Island fans have slammed Luca for showing “sickening” behaviour towards Tasha Ghouri.
The telly regulator was also bombarded with complaints over alleged misogynistic behaviour on Movie Night and a game of Snog, Marry, Avoid in which Tasha was targeted.
