Love Island viewers were left shocked when Mimii, one of the show's standout stars, unveiled that her real name is not Mimii after all.
Amidst all the drama and romance in the villa, fans seemed to have overlooked the true identities of some of their favorite contestants.

Going back to the very first episode of the series, Mimii disclosed her real name to fellow contestant Ayo, who is 25 years old.
Introducing herself as "Michelle" to the footballer, Mimii has since stuck with the nickname and even uses it on her social media platforms.
Other Islander Nickname Reveal
Mimii is not the only Islander who goes by a nickname in the villa. Blonde beauty Lolly Hart also surprised fans when she disclosed that her real name is Lauren during a date with Joey Essex.
Similarly, last year's contestant Tink Reading revealed that her actual name is Aliayah, with Tink being a childhood nickname that stuck.
In another instance, 'Chuggs' Wallis from season 7 raised eyebrows with his unique moniker, which was later disclosed to be Oliver George Lee Wallis.

Despite the revelation of Mimii's true name, the focus shifted to the emotional turmoil she faced in the villa after a daring terrace stunt.
