MISS England’s Rehema Muthamia has said she was “too busy” to go on this year’s Love Island.
ITV bosses were keen to have Rehema on Love Island this year, but the Miss England star didn’t match their enthusiasm.

Rehema was “too busy” to appear on the show this year
The 26-year-old told the Daily Star: “I was approached by Love Island. I thought about it, but I’m not there. I’m busy with many things.”
She added that it “would have been a risk” saying: “With life, there is always a risk when you do something. For one person it might be a negative experience and for another person it might be amazing.”
Rehema can be found posting life updates on her Instagram, from glamorous model shots to attending events and travelling.
Now that she’s snubbed Love Island, Miss England’s Rehema said she’d be interested in working on TV.
She said: “I’d love to work in entertainment. I have a few shows coming up later this year. I’d like to do TV presenting. That’s a side of things I would like to tap into more.”
Zara Holland, who was Miss Great Britain, famously went on the show in 2016 and the blonde beauty has since said she “regrets it massively.”
Zara was stripped of her Miss GB title after sleeping with Alex Bowen on the show.
The 26-year-old advised Amy Hart not to go on the show, but Amy decided to star on it and has since said she’s “grateful” for it.
Zara told The Mirror last year: “I was like, ‘Well, from my experience, I would probably advise you that you don’t go on.’
“I said, ‘If you’re going to go on, be prepared to only be in there a couple of days and never get your job back’.”
The star explained that Amy was adamant she wanted to go on the show despite it meaning she would “never be taken back” to her old job.
“I told her my experience very bluntly,” Zara concluded the conversation.
