DUMPED Love Islander Georgia Townend insisted she was a “s*** Islander” but said she “represents normal girls who struggle to date”.
The marketing executive revealed she gave up grafting the boys in the Majorca villa after Hugo Hammond said he wasn’t interested in her.
In a lengthy post on Instagram Georgia, 28, said she refused to chase the boys or fake who she was, and left the reality show with “dignity”.
She shared in a candid post on Instagram tonight: “I’m now home, unlike the football! What a whirlwind! So much to say, not enough caption characters available.
”I entered the villa with honest intentions, I was hopeful that despite being an unorthodox method, there could be a real prospect of meeting someone. Unfortunately, things don’t always pan out the way you’d hoped, but if you learn a lesson it’s always worth the tuition fee.
”I knew before even applying I was an aberration compared to the atypical islander. I’m s***e at make up, I can’t flirt to save my life, and apparently I have dreadful fashion sense
but despite these obvious shortcomings, I wanted to represent normal girls who struggle to date, aren’t interested in the social equity and had a genuine desire to find someone.
”I value my integrity above all else, and didn’t want to invest my time where it was unrequited or have to sabotage couples to save my own skin. Whilst that meant I was probably a shit islander it means I walked away with my dignity and respect in tact.
“I’m now in the middle of an administrative storm, working through all your thoughtful, heartwarming messages, which I am truly blown away by and honestly overwhelmed. I promise I WILL reply to everyone, just give me a little minute.
”The main message I’m seeing over and over again is lauding me for being a breath of fresh air. You ALL can be too if you have the courage to step out from societal norms and unrealistic beauty standards. NEVER compromise your values, don’t ever feel you need to change to fit in, and always be yourself so that the people looking for you, can find you.
”
Georgia thanked her co-stars for making her feel welcome during her two-day stay, and praised ITV for giving her an “amazing experience”.
She also revealed she stole a souvenir from the villa, a pink blow up dog.

She ended her post by giving a shout out to friends and family, and Love Island brand partners, who she said gave her a tonne of freebies to take home.
Upon seeing her heartfelt comment, fellow ex Islander Sharon Gaffka reached out.
She wrote: “Absolutely gutted for you! But if you ever fancy a glass of wine or two, hit a girl up!
