Love Island’s Liberty Poole poses with rarely seen lookalike mum

LOVE Island favourite Liberty Poole posed with her look-a-like mum as the pair hit the town.

Liberty, 23, who won over huge numbers of Love Island fans during her stint in the seventh series, took her parent as her date to the Pride of Birmingham Awards.

The Brummie looked sensational in a strapless denim dress, paired with a purple floral choker and matching bag.

She tied her blonde locks into an up-do while her mum Jo Poole styled her similar-length hair into loose waves.

Marketing manager Jo opted for a chic LBD on the pair’s night out, and was seen cuddling into her daughter as they posed for a picture.

Last year, Liberty posted an image of mum Jo as she supported her during her Dancing On Ice stint.

Posing in a sparkly pink costume, Liberty beamed as Jo crouched into the shot.

She wrote alongside the snap: “If I end up ageing like my mom I’ll be happy. Thank you for being my no1 supporter.”

Jo first came to the attention of viewers when Liberty was in the Love Island villa last year and was on hand with supportive messages for her daughter.

Ahead of one elimination, which saw Shannon Singh given the boot, Jo wrote: “If Liberty leaves the villa tonight, being her true self means she’s a winner in my eyes #chloeisacatch #bekind.”

She also shared her feelings after Liberty and Jake Cornish called time on their villa romance just days ahead of the final.

Their split was shortly followed by the decision to leave the villa, leaving their fellow contestants gobsmacked.

Jo, 49, said it had been hard to watch her daughter go through heartbreak but that she was extremely proud of her for making the “right call.”

Speaking to The Mirror at the time, Jo explained: “It was an emotional journey, and I’m grateful she’s with me.”

She continued: “I was really looking forward to meeting Jake. But from what I’ve seen, Liberty totally made the right decision.”
