Liam was threatened with a knife by Mason, and things became so bad he contemplated taking his own life. Thankfully, his mum Maria discovered what was going on just in time and has been homeschooling her son ever since.
Private Therapy Consideration
In recent weeks, Liam gave evidence against Mason in court, leading to the thug being sent to a young offenders institution. However, the ordeal has left a lasting impact on Liam. In upcoming Coronation Street scenes, Gary and Maria discuss private therapy for Liam, with Gary suggesting selling the factory to fund it. Liam overhears this conversation and is deeply troubled. Later, Liam googles ways to deal with anxiety, searching for diazepam.
Family Drama Unfolds
Amidst the therapy decision, the Connor-Windass family faces more drama. Maria had installed a hidden camera in her home due to concerns about Liam. Tensions rise as Liam expresses his desire to return to school, leading to a confrontation between Maria and Gary. Things escalate when Maria implies that Gary has no say in Liam's matters as he is not his biological son. Meanwhile, Gary finds solace in comforting his ex Sarah Platt, unaware that Maria is watching them through the hidden camera.
