MARRIED At First Sight’s April Banbury has been an “emotional wreck” after “husband” George’s arrest.
Former Ms Great Britain April, 33, is said to be “struggling” these past few weeks and has found the situation “difficult”.

A source close to her told The Celeb Report: “April rang me a few times upset when her and George were falling out – there was a lot of context on George that wasn’t in there, they had a lot of arguments and stuff.
“It’s really difficult for her, I was at her house the other day watching one of the episodes and she is an emotional wreck, it’s difficult for her as she was constantly rowing with George.
“Everyone was rowing with her, so she didn’t really have that support network going through it and since then she’s had major trolling, people talking about her through her Instagram and now this thing with George – it’s never ending.”
April hinted online last weekend that the relationship was now over, as she admitted she was “seeing a therapist”.
“She said to me the other day, ‘I can’t believe I am going through this’, she is struggling,” they continued.
“She has good friends around her, her best friend Jose, she’ll be alright but it’s just difficult. I imagine watching a relationship unfold – it must be really hard for her.
“I don’t know how people can’t see that George is manipulative, when I was watching the episode when George was saying ‘don’t Adrian, don’t Adrian’, I don’t know what he was trying to hide.
“I felt for April sitting on the sofa, she was very within herself when you’re watching it.”
It comes after it was revealed last week that her Married At First Sight “husband” had been arrested for “emotional abuse”.
Police are investigating the 40-year-old over allegations of harassment and coercive control, the Met said last night.
It comes after The Celeb Report told how three of his ex-girlfriends had raised concerns after spotting him on a trailer for the series.
Other women have now come forward and raised their own concerns, one source has claimed, while George continues to deny wrongdoing.
The Met Police said: “A 40-year-old man was arrested in Worcestershire on Thursday, September 29, on suspicion of controlling and coercive behaviour.
“He was taken to a police station and bailed pending further enquiries.”
The decision by show bosses to continue with the programme, which airs weeknights, raised eyebrows with the women involved.
A source close to her told The Celeb Report: “April is having a very difficult time at the moment. She doesn’t want to ever see him again.”
Another insider explained: “This has been rumbling on for a while but now the police are involved, so many involved in the show thought surely they would have to pull it off air — or at the very least re-edit it.
“This has become a nightmare for the network, who didn’t know about allegations in his past before.”

Apri said she was seeking professional help since the show ended.
She wrote: “The traumas that have been brought on from this show have made me re-evaluate things. I’m not ashamed to admit, I’ve been seeing a therapist.”
Charity Women’s Aid said the entertainment industry should send a clear message that any allegation of domestic abuse must be thoroughly investigated. Channel 4 did not comment.
