A third announced confidently: “pillar and post definitely Torvill & Dean
.”
However, there is a little bit of a problem with that – because Christopher Dean has already appeared on the show.
He was unmasked as Beagle in June last year – performing Fly Me To The Moon, one of the routines he did with Jayne on Dancing on Ice.
One fan insisted: “Pillar and post can’t be torvill and dean as dean was on last years show as the dog.”
The Masked Dancer was due to return on Saturday night but may not because of shifting schedules after the death of the Queen on Thursday.
Other stars performing on the ITV show’s debut episode included Prawn Cocktail, Odd Socks and Astronaut, who turned out to be Jesse Metcalfe.
The Masked Dancer is a spin-off of the enormously successful Masked Singer, which has been a big hit for ITV in recent years.
