Based upon the contestants’ costumes and dance routines as well as a handful of hints, the judges and viewers of the show try to deduce who is behind the mask.
The celebrities perform whilst trying to hide their identity.
The character ‘Onomatopoeia’ is all about his brightness and words associated with sounds.
From the clues so far, the main guesses are Simon Bird and David Tennant.
Each week the characters perform a dance routine and viewers vote for their favourites, with the two with the least votes being left in the bottom two, where the judges can choose to save or ditch either contestant.
The show is a spin off of the show The Masked Singer, with contestants hoping to follow in the footsteps of season 1’s Masked Dancer winner, Olympic gymnast, Louis Smith.
