Viewers Shocked by Himanshu's Undercooked Lamb Chops
MasterChef: The Professionals is known for its mouthwatering dishes, but in a recent episode, viewers were left feeling sick after professional chef Himanshu Verma served up a raw dish. The brand-new series kicked off with four professional chefs vying to impress judges Marcus Wareing, Gregg Wallace, and Monica Galetti. In tonight's episode, the chefs showcased their individual cooking styles with two standout Signature Dishes – one main and one dessert. Himanshu's attempt to impress with his lamb chops served with palak spinach puree fell short when Wallace pointed out that the lamb was not cooked enough.
Greg Wallace Sends the Undercooked Dish Back
Greg Wallace, one of the judges, expressed his disappointment with the undercooked lamb chops, saying, "I can tell you straight away that the lamb is not cooked anywhere near enough for me. I would send it back, I'm afraid." This revelation left viewers shocked and disgusted, with one person commenting that the lamb must have been extremely raw for Wallace to send it back. Another viewer added, "It's not MasterChef without someone serving raw lamb."
Early Elimination for Himanshu
Although it was only the first step of the competition, the standards were already set high. Unfortunately, Himanshu was eliminated in this episode, along with contestant Catrin. Chefs Cameron and Dara managed to impress the judges with their dishes and sailed through to the next stage of the competition.
